The short answer is: yes! Actually, in many cases, using your GI Bill at an HBCU is an incredibly unique opportunity that pays tangible benefits on the other side.
There are over 103 HBCUs across the nation (Citation 1). One thing to consider, however, is that not all HBCUs are approved by the State Approving Agency to certify students under VA Education Benefits. You can use the VA GI Bill Comparison Tool website to find out if the school you are interested in will accept your benefits (Citation 2).
